I have been a group exercise instructor for 25 years, teaching a variety of formats. Currently, I am a Nationally Certified Pilates Trainer (NCPT) in Mat Pilates as well as Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrel. I know how important being physically and mentally healthy is to lead an active life. I also believe there is no magic workout- but by doing something you enjoy you’ll come back to it again, therefore you see improvements in your body and mind!

I've been practicing yoga for five years since we moved to Michigan and found Breathe! Pilates is not meditative like yoga. It is mindful, which creates a challenge for your mind and body. Doing yoga for me has been a challenge - letting go and just listening to my breath and being present. The differences in the practices are what makes each one effective - we need both of them in our lives!
