My passion is to support people in their journey to physical health and wellbeing. I hold certification in Pilates through NCPT, and I am also a 500-hour yoga instructor. I have come to appreciate both modalities as a great compliment to a healthy lifestyle.
Pilates focuses on core strength through key principles that include control, breath, centering, concentration, and precision while performing a series of structured exercises that can slowly get more challenging over time. A Yoga practice connects mind-body and offers physical benefits like strength, flexibility, and balance, often with meditation.
As a practicing nurse, I combine my knowledge of anatomy and movement with each individual's unique physical conditions such as osteoporosis, scoliosis, and any musculoskeletal conditions. I love to meet people where they are and support each person’s quest for healthy happy movement that in turn makes for a healthy happy life.
